Conferences have previously been held in Adelaide, Australia (2002), Groningen,Netherlands (2004), Sandton, South Africa (2006), Toronto, Canada (2008), Brisbane,Australia (2010) and London, United Kingdom (2012), Helsinki, Finland (2014), Hong Kong (2016), Rotterdam, The Neatherlands (2018), Virtually/Halifax (2020), Dublin, Ireland (2022). Upcoming conference in 2024 will be in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

The host for the conference  is selected by a ballot by the core steering group and ICN. The host for
the 2026 conference will be notified in writing once the selection process has been
completed.
