student member spotlight

The ICN NPAPN Network student sub-group welcomes Elwin Frempong. Elwin is originally from Ghana but is currently living in Virginia, US.

She recently graduated from a Nurse Practitioner program and is enjoying the transition to her
Elwin regularly participates in the subgroup and has presented to us about her area of research: “The Correlation Between Socioeconomic Status and Prevalence of Childhood Obesity in the US”.

One thing Elwin would like to say to anyone considering being a nurse practitioner or joining the ICN student subgroup is "​​​​​​​This group has provided a platform where I’m able to share my expertise and experiences in healthcare with different people from all over the world while learning about theirs.”
